This version describes SwissLove 1.0, a completely free service without payments. Remaining bracketed items must still be confirmed or reviewed by a legal professional.
Which data we process
Account data: e-mail address, language preference and technical login information. Profile data: display name, birth date (used only to calculate your age), gender, search preferences, canton and optionally your city, bio and interests. Content: profile photos, the optional intro video, verification selfies, messages and photos you share in a conversation. Activity: likes, passes, matches, in-app points and reports.
Photos and verification selfies
Profile photos, intro videos and verification selfies are never stored publicly. They are kept in private storage and can only be opened through short-lived signed links that are generated while you are signed in. Verification selfies are seen only by the operator when reviewing your request and remain stored until you delete your account. Private messaging
Messages in a conversation are visible only to the two members of that conversation. The operator cannot read private messages by default. You can delete your own messages at any time. All conversations, including shared photos, are permanently deleted when a member deletes their account.
How we use your data
Your data is used solely to operate the service: showing you compatible profiles, running likes, matches and chat, operating the in-app points, and keeping the community safe (reports, blocking and verification). Your data is not sold and is not used to build advertising profiles. Exact locations are never displayed.
Retention and deletion
You can delete your account and the personal data connected to it at any time in Settings. Deleting your account permanently removes your profile, photos, intro video, wallet and points, likes, super likes, blocks, conversations, verification records and any open requests. The login account itself is removed by the operator on request.
Records needed for safety and moderation (reports and the administrative audit log) are kept so the operator can demonstrate that its safety duties were met. [Retention period for these records — to confirm with a legal professional].
Your rights
Under the revised Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (revDSG) you have the right to access, correct, delete and object to the processing of your personal data. You can exercise these rights directly in the app (profile settings and deletion tools) or by contacting mahergulli548@gmail.com.
Data processors and hosting
The service runs entirely on the infrastructure of the Base44 platform (base44.com), which stores the app data and the private files. [To confirm — providers, their locations and possible transfers abroad, legal review].
